Terrible game , long way for absolutely nothing. One decent strike won it after our two defenders failed to clear . We resorted to a long ball game after a good opening ten minutes . Don't think we had an effort on goal , they were equally as bad if not worse but they won every tackle and seemed to want it a bit more. Pitch was fine , ground clean and soulless . The two boozers I went in in Barwell and Hinckley were beyond bleak . The 10 or so City fans there deserve a medal and a refund ! I got back  at 12.40 .Dread to think when the coach got back! A fat Chav kid shouting Lancaster you are Sh** summed up the whole affair !
Positives ?? New ground that was it! As a German mate of mine once said " I might as well as stayed at home and burned my own money!"

For a 1-0 defeat to a team much higher in the table than us?

If you were there and thought it was acceptable fair enough , I did not . Before last night Barwell 41 games 59 points City 42 games 53 points hardly leagues apart. Similar budgets and crowds by the look of things. The refund thing was a bit tongue in cheek but it was as a poorer game I've seen this year and I watch a lot of games of all standards.

Looks like a top ten finish is beyond us. If we get to 60 points I'll be happy, although we have fared the worst of the four teams promoted last season. Our away from has been really poor.

Sadly our home form has been almost as bad.

Last 11 away games: Two wins and two draws making it 8 points from 33.

Last 11 home games, (i.e. since so-called fortress Giant Axe was breached early December by Matlock): Two wins and three draws so 9 points from 33, with the two wins coming against the bottom two clubs.

If the first half of next season starts like the second half of this, then we'll be in real trouble. Hopefully PJB has identified the issues and will get the backing to address the problems.

Agree our home form has deteriorated greatly, but over the season we have lost 6 home games but 12 on our travels. Of the 53 points we have, 33 have been gained at the Axe and we have two more home games left, so chances are we could get more. Having said that, I have to agree that our overall form since the turn of the year would normally see us relegated.

Does anyone know the team line-up from Tuesday night or did you have to be there. Social media doesn't seem to know and Twitter has been pretty poor for a while now whereas it used to be decent.

It’s better nowadays to follow the opponent’s Twitter. Obviously it leans towards them, but it seems to be updated every few minutes.

Yeah I did that on Tuesday but, as you say, it only gave their team.
