Sometime in the future someone will look up the definition of "a game of two halves" & they will find this game. In the first half we did a pretty good Dracula impersonation, panicking whenever there was a cross. The only surprises were that it took them 28 minutes to score & that we were only two down at half time. They were a big, strong side that liked the physical side of the game. long balls to Blinks & Brad offered little reward as the midfield weren't close enough to pick up any bits. Our best moment in the first half was a great run into the box by Charlie Bailey which obviously came to nothing. At one point Scholsey was marking their #8 at a corner & there was about a foot height difference between them. The celebration for their first was possibly the worst I've seen. Both goals were soft, due to our inability to deal with ariel balls into our box
We started the second half much more brightly & aggressively than we played in the first, although it took an outstanding Peter Schmeichel-esque save from Jck Sims to keep the deficit at two goals. From there on in, we dominated.Their keeper made good saves from Blinkhorn before we scored our first & Carsley before we equalised.Having struggled to defend crosses in the first half, we scored both of our goals from corners. Once again, great spirit was shown by the men in Dolly Blue, & fantastic vocal backing by the shed army .

Feared the worst at 2-0, could have got embarrassing, we were all over the place at the back. Whatever was said at half time did the trick, completely different team 2nd half. Thank god we have Scholsy and Norris, between them they dragged us back into it.

Dawson made a big difference off the bench
