Summed up in four words: good attacking, shocking defending.

Drove to Nantwich to watch some inexcusable defending, Hudson not looked the same after his injury, Steel looks past it and Fensome not good enough. Only Armer that should be in that back 4, rest should be on borrowed time.

The comments on here are fairly damning of our defence, but from what I've seen this season & looking at the number of goals we have conceded so far must have a grain of truth in them. However, I return to the point I have made a couple of times before on here regarding our midfield. One of the midfield's numerous jobs during a game is to get hold of the ball when it is cleared & at the minimum give the defenders time to regain their shape & positions.
Worrying to read about Brad Carsley's head injury.Hope firstly that he is ok of course & secondly that he makes a speedy & full recovery..
Secondly happy to be joined by a new poster.Welcome Betterdeadthanred

Get well soon Brad, our number one striker by a mile. Looks like the trip to Witton we'll be missing Glenn Steel, Luke Thompson, maybe Walker and certainly Brad, maybe others. Getting tougher. At least we're finding the net unlike last season. This time last year, Brown had gone and we looked doomed. Maybe a couple more loan players are in the pipeline.
