People may be a bit embarrassed to show their support. After all, if you wear a support, I imagine you tend to keep it to yourself. Razz

Its an open forum, ask what you wish to ask! Its your club, what concerns you about match days should also concern the club.

PS...... for anyone interested,I forgot to say that the bar will be open (at this point I should add,on Jonny's behalf, charging the relatively new reduced prices  Very Happy )

A number of issues were raised, & Darren & George were on fine form speaking very candidly & answering openly. One of the major points that they wished to address was that they were extremely disappointed with both the result & the performance on Saturday, adding that people may not realise just how down the players were after the game. We are still looking at a 3-5 year plan, but Darren did say that he thought that we should've got a win in nearly every league game that we have played this season. They are working not just on the footballing skills of the players, but also on their mental outlook, & admitted that there have been times when we have seen a poor reaction to decisions & incidents that have gone against us. They said that they are happy with the fact that we are creating chances, but not that we are not converting them. On the whole they are happy with the squad, although they are always looking to bring in new players if they are good enough. Darren said that his remit for this season was to keep us in this division, and I think that the fact that we are worrying about not getting into the play offs shows that he has certainly more than exceeded this challenge, and that perhaps we get carried away at times as supporters.
S/C business was addressed earlier in the evening, including coaches to away games, ways of raising more money for s/c funds & end of season awards. S/C Gen Sec asked what more supporters could do to help the team, to which the answer was that the team should be asking what it could do for the supporters. The level & commitment of people supporting LCFC was highly praised
Catering issues were not raised, sorry, although sandwiches were provided on the evening  Very Happy

The turnout was pretty dismal I'm afraid, very disappointing

I'm sure that Keith will cover the evening far more eloquently in Friday's bulletin

A little surprised to read that the aim for this season was merely to STAY IN the division, after all, we achieved that fairly comfortably last season despite the managerial and playing upheavals.

There was a thread on the forum a couple of months ago about out lack of goals and most would agree we are struggling a little in that department, despite the return of Connerton. Of our 15 league wins this season, 13 of them have been by just one or two goals (9/4); indeed, our last three home games have been 2-1, 2-1 and 1-0 and whilst that's been good enough to gain us 9 points we'd all love it to be a little more comfortable as the games enter their closing stages. The other two wins were 4-1 against Radcliffe and the amazing 9-4 against hapless Wakefield, both teams in the bottom three. It's disappointing to think that our 7th attempt to get out of this league looks doomed to failure, unless we can scrape into the play-offs and then get some luck in them.

The remit was to stay in the league! How ambitious!! If like us you've been going around the same grounds for 7 seasons, you may want to change the remit!!
As for turnout, a lot of our boyz live our work away from home!!
As for me , I was dog walking and at present dogs are still banned from the Axe!!!
