Marske Utd won Div 1 and Seaham Red Star won Div 2 of the Northern League last season, so it's a tough start. A repeat of last season would be nice but 1-0 will do.

By the way, it is rumoured that the FA is cutting prize money for both competitions. Does anyone have definite info about that?

Marske is near Redcar and I think Seaham is County Durham?

Prize money for the 2014/15 comp here http://www.thefa.com/thefacup/more/prize-fund

When they get round to publishing this year's we'll be able to compare it.

Yet another away draw......going to the north-east is always tough!

Prize money for Extra Preliminary Round is £1,500 to the winners & for the Preliminary Round is £1,925 which are the same as last years. These are mentioned at the top of the draw for each of those two rounds made yesterday. More details in next Saturday's programme
