3-0 down after an hour.

Time for Mr. Brown to go.

We were unbeaten under Hunter and Carlton..... Smile

Lost 4-0....it isn't Mr Brown who has to go, it's some of his charges who play under him. Looks like DP got out at the right time. Overhaul required, too many players not playing to their potential...enough is enough..
in Brownie we trust.

He certainly has a big job on his hands if tonight is anything to go by. We were second best from start to finish. They overran us in the first half and it could have been more than two by half time. We had one meaningful attempt on goal all night. Poor all round.

Appears to me that Phil will need to bring in at least 5 or 6 new faces on this performance ! That was not pleasing on the eye Embarassed

Defence poorer than usual, attack poor as usual.
Agree we need new faces going forward, but bear in mind Vics were a superb side and hard to contain especially on the counter.
Having said that, we couldn't string 5 passes together, of whatever distance.

True, but it seems to be that now, in our ninth season in this league, we are unable to compete with its best sides.
We're going backwards, not forwards.

A lot of work for Phil to do. Historical note: Alan Tinsley lost his first game 5-0 and went on to be one of City's best managers!

I'm not jumping on the "players not good enough "bandwagon, but I said in a post when DP left some players seem to get picked regardless of playing well or not, this now needs to change, if your not playing well go with reserves until you rediscover your form & promote 1 or 2 lads from the reserves

prestondolly, I presume this is a wind-up. You are either Manager or Assistant Manager of the reserves because almost every post you make is 'promote the reserves'. Do you honestly believe young players from the reserves are going to get us out of the league position we find ourselves in right now. Is this the same reserve side that has lost 7 out of the last 8 games thus far. This is a man's league as we found out to our cost last night and currently sit 16th in the table and are out of both the FA Cup and FA Trophy. I fully support the youngsters at LCFC in everything they do and would love nothing more than to see young local talent given the chance, but to put them in right now would be testament to suicide. We need new blood, urgently.

Not Manager or assistant manager, a couple of young lads will shake things up, maybe they will wake these so called decent 1st players up a bit, they ca'nt do any worse and do the club have the money to bring in the "better" players needed.
