default 'Dull

A disappointing end to our play-off push, We were poor, perhaps as a result of Saturday's efforts on a very heavy pitch. The game was very similar to our recent 3-1 home win over the 'Dull, except that on this occasion we were unable to find a late goal. To be fair, they were better than when we played at the Axe, sadly we weren't. Again we should've been out of sight by half time, but failed to convert our chances.Their second was a great strike.Good numbers of Dollies in attendance, but there never were 390 there!
For next season Bobby Langford needs to be starting his mazy dribbling runs on the edge of the 18 yard box, not 10 yards outside

It is worth bearing in mind that Kendal took a point at Clitheroe on Saturday. It is also a sign of progress that, despite playing poorly and falling behind, we still showed enough resilience to claim a point--I can't help feeling that, earlier in the season, we would have lain down and died.Just a thought : if Rob Henry hadn't twisted his knee at Leyland, and Zach hadn't burst back onto the scene, would any of our recent performances have happened?
