default Car Parking

on 13/8/2016, 18:09
I see that todays attendance was down approx 25% for whatever reason!

One thing in place which will keep the attendance down is as what happend to me today when I tried to park on the car park which I or one of my members of family have parked on for the last 50 years, only to be told if I parked there I would receive a parking ticket!

Todays crowd was able to use the parking provided but surely the club has ambition to attract far larger attendances! Will we in future need to use public transport?!

Where were you trying to park. Surely not the car parking area next to the sheltered housing as I have parked there for 40 years. Often parked next to Brocker.

I was one of seven people who received tickets for parking in the usual place a fortnight ago. The club got them rescinded, but it doesn't bode well for the future.

Agreed!

It seems there are still a few policies that need adjustments with the new parking. Free parking in both car parks is a must on a match day for me.

So has anything been done about the car parking?

I'm expecting a few vehicles from Glossop on sat'. Are we all to cram into the one car park?!

Spoke to the chairman while doing the Fans'Fund this afternoon. He assured me that the car park will not be patrolled on home match days
