There really hasn't been enough excitement on here about this in my opinion!
Hoping for a big crowd & a good performance. It's a big day , the winners of this game is just one good performance /lucky break /good or bad descion away from the first round proper.

Get behind the lads #COYDB

Just got back from doing a bit of maintenance at the ground, coach turned up at 11.20 with kitmen & kit aboard looking like they mean business. Apparently they stayed locally overnight so I think we can safely assume they are up for it and not treating it as second fiddle to their league ambitions - bring it on

Valiant valiant effort from the lads, hold your heads high guys they were too strong in the end but many great memories to take away from the contest and if we take that sort of effort into the rest of the league campaign we can become champions.
Proud to be a Dolly Blue, bring on Droylsden we owe them one, a beating that is.

The lads did us proud today. Going toe-to-toe with full time professionals and running them all the way to the final whistle was superb.

Another fantastic occasion and performance from this set of players. The sky is the limit at the moment and it's a great time to be a Lancaster City supporter Very Happy

Did I mention there's another £2500 up for grabs if we beat Droylsden? Wink

Terrific performance all round against a skillful side who are surely on their way back up. Lovely through ball from Louis Mayers to put in Billy and Connie for the first, though there must be questions about Harriers defence there. What can you say about Billy's screamer? Out of this world. Even Harriers fans near me applauded. A couple more great saves from Mike Hale. All the best to our visitors, but our lads can take so many positives from that performance. And if Craig Carney had been available....who knows what more might have been achieved?

No shame whatsoever in performance! The last 20 minutes against a full-time team was always going to be very difficult, & as it turned out we simply weren't able to apply the kind of pressure that we may have been able to exert on a fellow part-time team. I thought that the best team won & have no complaints.
Onward with our league campaign, on the last couple of games that I've seen, we should fear noone in our division! #COYDB

No disgrace in losing to a very good side. Good first half performance but they hit back quickly in the second half then kept the ball well and we were chasing the game. Worth the entrance money just to see Billy's screamer. Much more to come from this team.

Thanks for giving us a good game today. You have a nice ground there and some friendly fans.

Wonderful goal from Akrigg but as you say our fitness told in the end.

Shame about the congestion in your city both on the way in and then out after the game. We thought it was bad in Kidderminster!
