Terrific battling performance, ultimately just coming up short fitness wise. They train every day, we don't. Would have loved to have been behind the goal for Billy's 'Ronnie Radford' moment. Those who don't know what i'm on about will have to You Tube it and compare. There is no limit on what this squad can achieve if we stay together and get that bit of luck. With a bad winter forecast, who knows ? Personally this is the best group of lads we've had since 09/10, maybe Connie can answer that as he played in both.

Don't worry about a bad winter, the forecasters often get it wrong for the next handful of days!

Wonderful goal from Akrigg but as you say our fitness told in the end.

Shame about the congestion in your city both on the way in and then out after the game. We thought it was bad in Kidderminster!

The majority of your fans was friendly too but the few idiots behind the goal in the second half have spat on,slashed/damaged and stuck chrewing gum to the Lancaster flags!!

Ah dear old Ronnie's screamer, they don't play on pitches like that anymore which is probably for the better. I don't know where the bad winter forecast is from, certainly not the Met Office, but if it does materialise it's the same for everyone and we have a pretty good track record for getting our home fixtures played so it shouldn't hold any fears for us - basically bring it on and let's get the job done, we certainly appear to have the squad for the job provided they stick together and avoid serious injury.
