Get the job done at Glossop

Sadly game coincides with the start of my cricket season, good luck to the team and let's get out of this bloody division

5-2 seems to suggest they will by the way headlines on Radio Lancashire never even mentioned us

Congratulations to all at the club. There have been a few dodgy moments over recent weeks but it's a 42 game season and the best team has triumphed in the end. I hope Farsley make it in the play offs.

I've no particular allegiance to Farsley, it was basically an anti play off statement. I just think that if the league is going to promote two teams, it should be the two best ones over a full season.sparrows left peg wrote:I don't. Come on Colne. Do Lancashire proud.

No see where you're coming from. I haven't anything against Farsley either, they pushed us all the way. I'd just like Colne to go up as a Lancashire club and I used to have a soft spot for the old Colne Dynamoes club tho they say they haven't any links with it but have the same badge and same ground and play in red. Work that out.

I hope Scarborough make it. New stadium next season, so it'll be one extra new ground to visit.
If not, Colne please. I'm bored of going to Farsley and Ossett Town.

I hate the play offs too, but if it hadn't been for the threat of the playoffs would the lads have turned in such a performance yesterday?

As a City supporter since the 60s, yesterday was one of those days you dream of and happens only once or twice in a lifetime. Looking forward to next season with around a dozen "home" games for me in the Midlands. Lots more travelling though for team and fans. Hope at least some of yesterday's followers continue to support the club next season.
