default netbusters 2017/2018

Post by alasher on 2/8/2017, 20:06

Hello again everyone. I'm afraid that if you've ead the title of this topic, that the majority of you will have already guessed that I'm after your money again Cool
Last season we raised a record amount of money, in fact £2,229.54 to be exact. This represents a truly amazing effort, & I assure you that the club & directors are extremely grateful for your efforts & generosity, & that the money we raise (whatever that amount may be) is vitally important to the financial well-being of our football club.  The money we raised last season was used towards the improvements made to Dolly's Diner over the summer, which you'll be able to see for yourself when you visit the ground (if you haven't already)
Netbusters is a pretty simple concept. I ask you to promise (pledge) a set amount of money for each time an event that you nominate occurs. These events can include just about anything (in the past they have been exclusively limited to events on the football pitch, but could include how many times Mad Cyril eats a cheese & onion pie) & are only limited by your imagination (& common decency) Often used ideas are ?/goal, ?/clean sheet, ?/away win, ?/goal scored by a named player, but as I said the options are limitless. I do a (very boring) page in each matchday programme to keep you up to date on the latest total.
If you have any questions at any time, you can contact me by email stevemrw1964@aol.com or phone/text on 07960062621
Leave any pledges on here, email me, text or call, or see me on the ground on most match days (I man the Long Marsh Lane end turnstile) or behind whichever goal we are attacking
Regards
Steve Wright

default FA CUP

Post by The Reiver on 18/9/2017, 21:42

Hi Steve,

We've got a tricky FA Cup draw at Shaw Lane, so I'll bring my pledge forward a round. I'll pay if we get through to the 4th qualifying round, not the first round proper.

The Reiver in Carlisle.
