In the end comfortable, although it was possibly a bit too easy which is why we switched off and let them score, great volley by Jacko, they seem to swear a lot must be something in the Manchester air.
Darlo and Curzon drop points. Looking good so far long way to go though.

Almost missed the fourth goal: I was too busy shouting at the ref to look at his assistant who was flagging for a free kick to City. Good job he didn't.

Wasn't he flagging for a penalty?Brocker wrote:Almost missed the fourth goal: I was too busy shouting at the ref to look at his assistant who was flagging for a free kick to City. Good job he didn't.
Great win this afternoon. It was great we scored a few more goals than usual but a shame we couldn't keep the clean sheet. Either way dem boys' done good.
Up to third. Happy days get happier. Jacko's second was sheer class.

He didn't put his flag across his chest--though I don't know if that is still done. Jacko was limping a bit as he came to the tunnel: he is a class act.

Believe they only put their flags to their chest as and when the referee sees them and wave the flag until then?Brocker wrote:He didn't put his flag across his chest--though I don't know if that is still done. Jacko was limping a bit as he came to the tunnel: he is a class act.
Jacko for England

It was a bit annoying to hear a minority of older supporters in "Get rid of it!" mode as City played possession football. Seems to be a case of short memory syndrome: we played "Get rid of it; lump it forward!" football last season, and it got us nowhere.
