Interesting games next Saturday
us v Rammy
Brig v Farsley
Darlo v Curzon
Wire v Kendal
Ossett T v Salford

make or break week for our play off hopes?..........or too early to say that?

I think 4 points from Rammy and Darlo would be a great return, especially after what must have been the poorest performance of the season at Salford. It would keep us firmly in the mix and demonstrate that we can stay with our closest rivals in the hunt for a top 5 finish. The impact on morale would be huge, too.

Beating Rammy and losing at Darlington would probably not be disastrous, as - if we're honest and realistic - we're in a battle for 5th place, not any higher - but anything less than that and I think the task would probably be beyond us. Beating Rammy this Saturday is - in my humble opinion - crucial.

Totally agree. We are probably in a three-way fight for 5th place and I reckon around 80 points will be needed for the last playoff spot, based on last year's table. If our record in the final 15 games is the same as in the first 15 we make just make that total, but not if we put in performances like last Saturday.
