Weather forecast for overnight and through all of tomorrow is abysmal. Are we confident about the pitch ?

Never expected to win anyway. Rammy are a good side and we've been a bit wobbly lately.

Still disappointing we missed the chance to go in front in the first half and that their first two goals were a bit disappointing from a defensive stand point.

Onwards and upwards! Bring on the Darlo Very Happy

I felt that we didn't create enough. Definitely second best in first half, we matched them after half time, but things tended to break down at the edge of the area. I presume Ryan Winder and Killer were played inside to ensure we weren't swamped in midfield, which is fair enough, but then we suffered by not having sufficient width. Jacko didn't have one of his better days. An equaliser was always on , but so was a breakaway third, which duly happened. Good to see that Marshy clearly lasted the pace (apart from the foul which brought the booking). Come back soon, Scholesy! A good performance from Rob Walker, who took a fair (or unfair) amount of punishment. Our goals tally against Rammy now reads F1 A16, so at least we reduced the average of goals against!

Unlike last week, today we were beaten by the better side, although I thought 3-1 flattered them somewhat, particularly the last goal, which was just a ricochet off their forward from an attempted clearance by Hale. They dominated the first half but we still went close twice. They are the best side I've seen this season so we shouldn't feel too bad to have lost and we're still only a point off the playoff places, so all is not yet lost.

May I just say, what a fine example of true sporting behaviour was shown yesterday at the Axe by the rammy team! Especially their goalkeeper and assitant manager. The way their players at the end of the game jump over the boards onto the standing area to embrace the oposition fans was a truly moving experience and much appreciated!

This kind of true sporting behaviour should not be ignored and should be reported to the League Officials!
