Does someone take City's number out every time the home side is about to be drawn?

Not only that, but does someone draw City's number straight after FCUM's? By my reckoning, that's the third time we've been drawn against them in the last 5 or so years. Personally, I'd have preferred a home tie against lesser opposition. Gives us a better chance to progress and make more money into the bargain. Having said that, we beat them last time out, so we still have a good chance of further glory and a good crowd guaranteed.

Disappointed. Would have preferred a Glossop, Harrogate Rail or Sheffield, to give us a better chance to progress and more chance of some extra cash for the club's coffers.

Always got the FA Trophy for extra dollar. We'll still earn some money as the gate receipts are split 50/50.
Can't wait

Is it 50/50 or do the FA get a cut too?
Also because of the shared revenue, is it me, or do really large crowds often get reported as somewhat smaller then expected? Or am I just an owd cynic?

50/50, although the FA get some to pay for the away teams coach travel and a few other things. Still looking at a decent lump sum for us though.
And yes, FA Cup crowds are often under calculated. Same goes for FA Trophy. I remember one year Garforth Town tried to tell us there was about 32 people at the game (lost 5-0 I think), when there were over 40 Dollies there alone

The attendance for that game at Garforth (Dodger managed a goal) was officially given as 92.LFC-LCFC wrote:

Re. FCUM, our two league games there had attendances of 1,859 and 2,704.
Our FA Trophy and Cup games were declared at 756 and 1,147.
Very suspiciously much lower!
