Sorry for the delay: computer problems. Edgar is local. I saw him in town a few years ago, and he made a guest appearance at the Axe for his eightieth birthday, when he joked about Marshy threatening his appearance record. I haven't heard of him dying, so unless someone else knows better, I would guess that he is still with us. Dave Barnes I rightly or wrongly associate with the Fleetwood area: Pressy the Printer might be your best bet for information.
