Better to see players leaving to play football at a higher level than to a rival anyway!
Clitheroe shouldn't have announced the signing if he hadn't actually put pen to paper. Silly move on their part.

Maybe he had. Connerton did that.

Can't sign a player before July 1st unless it's on a contract.

Killer has, despite his brief appearances at other clubs, always been a Dolly at heart. I know the decision(s) to leave were never taken likely and this is the same.
Hopefully he does well in the league above and kicks onwards. I'd happily take him back at Giant Axe otherwise. We'll see him in the friendly against Workington anyway.

I'd like to see the club take a harder stance on players who leave and come back so frequently, personally. Once you're gone, you're gone.

A summer is a long time in football opinions it seems

A move to a higher level is fair enough. The sideways move to Clitheroe beforehand less impressive for his image.

More the difference between leaving for better pastures than similar

I stand by that anyone who yo-yos between us, Kendal, Brig and Clitheroe should be told to stay away.

Its just a shame that we will never ever have a player as loyal as Neil Marshall was. If we keep losing our better players it is never going to be easy to get out of this league.
