So sad to hear the news of Sean's passing, in the sixties he was the player who more than any other drew me to the Giant Axe and, even in those days, to some far flung corners of the County. To me he epitomised everything that was good about football, we all have our personal favourites and he was, and still is, mine despite all the good players I have seen at City since - RIP.

A true gentleman. Was the manager at City when I first went down to the Axe. He loved the club and football in general. Condolenses to his family. RIP Sean.

One of the true greats. I first saw him play when I started to watch in the 60s, then as manager. He was an outstanding player and one of the best managers we've had. So sad.RIP.
