FA Cup
on 2/9/2017, 15:22
Do we fancy our chances in this season's competition? I don't think we're going to be challenging for the league title, so how about a good cup run? The prize money'd be helpful too!
Maybe a home draw or two as well?..lol

Giving up on the League after 6 games ? tut tut, and now we are in the in the hat for the next round. Still unbeaten. The defence looks rock solid this season and while we're not firing on all cylinders at the other end, we're still looking good. I take it our League game at Altrincham is postponed now as they blew a 3-0 lead at Abbey Hey and need a replay. BTW Bamber Bridge and Clitheroe are both out. COYDB

Great result today, I'm hoping for a favourable draw (On Monday?)
I wouldn't say that I've "given up on the league", I would simply be very surprised if we were in serious contention to win it

We have drawn with two of the top teams and a win at Buxton, I would not rule out winning this league, or at least making the playoffs

When do we find out who we play away in the FA cup. I will donate £5 to net busters if we get a home draw

Looks a good draw at first glance. A home draw against lower league opposition is all you could ask for, but they were the only side to take 6 points off us last season, so it won't be easy. We have a poor record against them and our F.A. Cup defeat a couple of seasons ago saw the end of the Peacock/Sinclair era, although we did win our Trophy game against them last year. Still fancy us to win though.

I'm afraid that I've added the £5 to your total Billy!

Could be an interesting game this afternoon. As Keith pointed out in the s/c newsletter, The Bloods score a few but they concede a few too. We seem to have begun to create a few more chances & have generally looked pretty solid at the back.
Here's hoping! #COYDB
